Just realized I haven't made a real journal entry since sometime in May, so here we go.

I've been doing pretty well for myself lately. Been trying to save a bit of money for college, so hopefully I'll be taking classes this fall. The new job's pretty decent. Not a big fan of dealing with people, but I do like the responsibility that comes with it. It's a nice change to see that people have confidence in me not fucking up the shop by running it alone.

Haven't been doing a lot of drawing lately, but I have been playing a tonne of music. Not stuff like learning from sheet music, but actual playing whatever comes to mind. I recently bought this awesome software from East West (Goliath [link]) and I've got to say, it was worth it for the piano sounds alone. The rest is just icing on the cake. I really ought to start recording stuff as I play.

I'm thinking of starting a livejournal and posting any art / music related stuff there instead of Deviant Art. Don't get me wrong, I love some of DA's community. I just feel like it's not the most professional atmosphere, and while my art is nowhere near professional grade I'd probably be able to get more constructive criticism elsewhere. I'll post with a link to my account as soon as I make it, so anyone who wants to follow me there can.

But yeah, to the two people who will actually read this, I'm doing great. c:

(Oh yeah, to the TF2 players: I've finally joined the elite group of hat wearers. Luck decided that I was no longer poor or Irish enough to remain hat-less, and blessed me with a mining light the night of the Engineer update. )
